Oregon State Baseball has captured its third NATIONAL TITLE, defeating Arkansas in the 2018 College World Series Final! This championship run caps off a historic 55-12-1 season for the Beavers and cements their spot as the nation's best.
In celebration of the national title, we invite you to participate in an effort that will help the program maintain the country's best home field advantage. Goss Stadium at Coleman Field has seen tremendous growth under Head Coach Pat Casey, but we're not done yet! A complete renovation of the Omaha Room and the extension of the right field balcony to replicate the current left field deck known as “Banners” will complete Goss Stadium from foul pole to foul pole. Help us enhance one of our most historic venues by making a gift that will close out the fundraising phase of this project.
This project is a Phase One to Oregon State Athletics Facilities Master Plan, providing a pathway for future concourse extension to a potential right field addition. Approximately 2,200 square feet of space will be added to the right field balcony over the existing visiting team bullpen with stairs and ADA walkway to an elevated space over the bullpen. We envision an angled design to provide better sight lines to home plate. Steel drink rails will be added facing the field along with water, electrical and drainage for portable concession options.
The Omaha Room, which celebrates the ultimate successes of this program, will be completely renovated featuring all operable glass front for improved sight lines without obstructions. New seating, lighting, ceiling and fixtures will be added to the Omaha Room for an upgraded premium feel. There will be upgraded audio/visual capabilities, including six (6) flat screen TVs inside as well as improved audio that can connect to the television or radio game feed. There will also be new and improved branding and aesthetics to honor every trip to Omaha, and all three Oregon State Baseball National Championships.
